What is Aloria?
Aloria is a cataclysmic realm locked in a purgatory state of being. Though there are native dwellers within Aloria, it primarily serves as an afterlife. Passed souls from an infinite number of other realms are transported to the realm via divine intervention after their deaths.
What kind of races can come to Aloria?
Virtually any race from any plane of existence can be drawn via death into the realm. For practicalities sake when filling out your character app you must specify 1-2 races from the race page, but while in character you are free to call your race whatever you want.
Can you create life in Aloria?
No - All characters existed outside of Aloria before being brought into the Realms purgatory unless they are a native race. No one within the Realm besides the dieties have the power to create new life within Aloria. If your character claims to have created a being, they would have needed to make them outside of the Realm.
Can I summon another person into Aloria?
Technically no. Only Demurga God of Death and Pity has the ability to transport souls into the realm via its portals. However through prayer and devotion to the God of Death you might be able to convince him to summon them for you, assuming they've passed on from their realm of origin.
Are there any races from the race page that should not be mixed?
Nope! As of season 10 limitations have been smashed and you can mix whatever races you like (limit of 2 races per mixed race character) however if you are mixing a native race with any other race it will be considered non-native due to the fact that no one in Aloria can reproduce
Can my character have children or become pregnant in Aloria?
Unfortunately no. As an 18 and up erotic roleplay community the use and reference of children, pregnancy and child characters of any sort is strictly prohibited. Your character can be a parent, but their offspring would need to have been born in a past life. If that descendant later enters the realm they must be at least 18 years of age.
How does time work in Aloria?
A 24 hour period in Earth time equates to 4 Alorian day and night cycles. Typically characters are awake for multiple days before feeling the need to sleep.
30 Earth days is the equivalent and 120 Alorian days.
A year typically lasts 3 Earth months, or approximately 364 Alorian Days.
A season that lasts longer than 3 months is considered longer than a year.
An Alorian Day and Night cycle is approximately 6 hours long.
One Earth year is aproximately 1,460 Alorian days long.
Can my character change race?
Yes, through unspecified magical ritual your character can change race by our lore standards. However for practical purposes we only allow the official change of race during season changes. Or when pulling a character you are not currently playing out of storage.
Can I make a new character that uses my past characters memories?
No, if it is not the same character then the use of the previous characters memories in any way would be considered metagaming, which is against the rules and standards of the Aloria Roleplay Server. You can however change races in certain situations. (See previous bite!)
What happens when my character dies?
Most characters (except 1 life affliction characters) have three lives. When losing a life with additional lives remaining you would respawn at the portal with no memories of the past 24 hours (in real time.) If you lose all three lives your character becomes perma-killed and cannot return to the realm.
Can I claim prior connections to the realms gods and goddesses?
When playing a non native character the answer is typically no, as no outside realm has knowledge of Aloria's existence. The realm exists in total secret.
Native characters however would have knowledge of Aloria's devines from an early age and may claim connection to the gods, but receive no additional powers from them.
Siduris god of Change and Rejection was born mortal in another realm, so it would be possible to have knowledge of them or relation to them from your past life if claiming to come from the same realm but you would not have known them in their god form.

Do people in Aloria have to eat / sleep / drink to survive.
Yes, while in Aloria normal life needs apply, and failing to meet the needs of survival could cause your character to die and lose a life. Anything they would have needed for survival in their past life is still a need to maintain their physical form in Aloria.
Is my character in Aloria alive or dead?
While most characters have to die to enter the realm, and the realm is a purgatory (or afterlife), characters within the realm are considered alive and will have mostly typical bodily functions while inside of it.
How do animals work in Aloria?
They get a job! Just kidding. They work the same as animals in any other plane of existence. They are born, grow, and die in normal cycles and are exempt from the purgatory state of the realm. Sorry, your pet bunny fufu is not immortal.
How do monster work in Aloria?
Monsters in the Realm of Aloria are cursed to die and respawn endlessly, with very little time passing between sightings. When a monster is seen only a single time in the realm it is considered of higher sentience then the typical beasts of the realm.
